September Thursday evening camp wrap up
My friends, I hope you had as much fun together the past two Thursdays as I have had. Thank you for joining me, thank you for practicing being creative, thank you for creating a beautiful container for all of us.
My hope is always that you will make a regular practice of creativity in your life. It frees so many parts of your brain and your emotions. I of course always hope you will practice with me in the studio because I love being with you, but even if you can't for whatever reason(s), please try to work in little bits here and there. You could easily do either of the mediums we worked with this month at your house. The first week we played with colorful alcohol inks, the second week we painted on different papers and then tore or cut them up and collage with them. I know some of you did not feel "successful" with what you made. My take on that is that we were all successful because we showed up, we made something and we had fun. Success! The gift is in the process, not the product. You did a great job!
I hope to see you in the studio in October for some fall themed creating. Please feel free to invite family and friends. I have room for 8 at the table and can accommodate more if we need it.
